Here's my Card

An ongoing project of mine is the business card. Firstly, should I have one? For a while there my teachers said no. “You are a student. Don’t make a card until you are an actual Graphic Designer.”
Well that title is getting closer and closer and all the little card ideas that spun around my brain before have all gone into hiding.
Typical.
You always have great ideas for a project you don’t need to work on or a project you have already handed in.
So I do what I always do when I need inspiration. I search the web. (coincidentally, depending what I find, this can also leave me with feelings of insignificance)
So I found an amazing site that deals with all kinds of design, and even had a section for business cards that stand out.

As a relatively self aware person, I’ve always been aware of how lucky I am to have a mother who has a passion for cooking. Growing up we never had a Chicken Tuesday, or Meatloaf Fridays. Other than Sunday dinners, you could never predict what you would be eating the next night. Although you could assume that it was going to be unique, and delicious! Cottage Trip 2015

Every summer, I always try to plan one trip to the cottage with my friends. It doesn't always work out with everyone, but it is looked forward to by all of us every year. This summer, we lucked out and pretty much everyone was able to make it. Now that the cottage is pretty much done and ready for visitors, it was especially exciting because I couldn't wait to see everyone's reactions when they saw the interior. I made sure to make a video of it for mom! After most of us arrived on Friday night, and we were all settled into our rooms, Josh and Michelle started a fire and we all immediatly went into cottage mode. Booze and marshmellows were passed around and we all discovered Josh is a bit of a pyro and we needed to keep the poker stick away from him.
